I spent my early years making art, singing in choir, and listening to jazz. While at UCSD, I attended classes taught by art world transplants from the east coast – Eleanor Antin, Manny Farber and Pat Patterson. After college, I began my career in Graphic Design. Moving forward in time, plein air painting outdoors renewed my love for oils and it’s multiple challenges and rewards. I have been honored to be included in gallery shows, first with the California Art Club juried shows at the Maritime Museum, and at San Diego Hospice. Then at galleries in the city: North Park Studio solo show, Santa Isabel Gallery and Gallery Next Door. Still life is the primary subject for my ambitions with the occasional painting trip outdoors.
